Producing Banners for Rose Bowl 2012

Rose Bowl 2012 was a spectacular event for the Miracle Sign Co. family. Not only did the Oregon Ducks finally quack a win, but Tege Sauer at American Golf asked us to rush-order a series of Rose Bowl 2012 banners less than a week away from game day.

On the weekend before Rose Bowl 2012 our contact, Tege Sauer at American Golf, phoned us in a state of signage emergency. She needed twenty-two team-themed tent banners for their Rose Bowl 2012 pre-game festivities in Pasadena, California. And, she needed them in five days.

American Golf manages Brookside Golf Club which coordinates and hosts the Rose Bowl tailgating events at their golf course prior to the Rose Bowl game. American Golf also manages Pumpkin Ridge in North Plains, Oregon which is one of our regular customers. So, when Tege told us that Brookside’s local California vendor was unable to get the job done in time, we knew she needed our help. And, pronto!

Fortunately for us, we were up for the post-Christmas holiday challenge. Actually, we couldn’t think of a better way to ring in the new year than with a barrage of green & yellow and cardinal & white colored tent banners, featuring each football teams’ emblem.

One of many Miracle Sign Co. produced banners at Rose Bowl 2012.

For the Rose Bowl 2012 pre-game festivities, we printed, grommetted, and shipped “Cheese,” “Cocktails,” “ID Check,” and other food and check-in tent banners for event-goers to get where they needed to go. We used 13 oz Tuff Weave scrim banners to get the job done. Tege needed two banner lengths: 24 inches x 20 feet and 24 inches x 30 feet.

Looking back at the photos, it’s a, well… miracle that we pulled off such a high-profile rush order for Tege at Pumpkin Ridge and American Golf. We’re even prouder of our sign-making family – they’ve got game and to us, they’re the real winners.
